The Honeymooners packed an entire sitcom into one cramped Brooklyn apartment and the enormous personality of Jackie Gleason as a loudmouth bus driver forever scheming his way to riches he'd never see. 'To the moon, Alice!' was his catchphrase, and somehow it read as comedy rather than a domestic disturbance.
