The Nomad was a genuinely cool idea: a full portable Genesis that played your existing cartridges on the go. The catch was the appetite — it devoured six AA batteries for a couple hours of play.
Sega launched it in 1995, already distracted by the Saturn and a graveyard of half-supported hardware. Brilliant concept, brutal timing, terrible battery math.
